Did you know, that when we recognize words in a (second) language, other words that we know automatically 'light up' in our brain? This helps us to get an idea of the context. For example; if I tell you it's getting dark in a room so i'm looking for the switch, you'll automatically understand I'm talking about a light switch to turn on a lamp, without using those words. Our brains are super cool like that. Henriette based a PhD research on this process and I had the honour to design her publication. In the end it became a whole series of designs: from a book cover to title pages, an invitation, a bookmark and powerpoint backgrounds. I love working on complete projects like these!
